About the Author

Dixie Wells is the pen name of the writer who began his literary efforts several years ago, after the death of a close friend inspired the writer to “leave something behind.” Dixie resides in Northern Virginia, with a spouse of thirty-one years and their college age son, who designed this website. A married daughter and her husband live with their young son, in nearby Maryland.

About the Website

The site was designed by the writer's son who is a rising senior at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and majors in Computer Information Systems

The site is written using XHTML Transitional and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). The webmaster intends on adding javascript later in the year to design a more "flashy" horizontal navigation bar. The logo was hand drawn by the writer's spouse and then digitally edited through an open source image manipulation program entitled GIMP.
