With the exception of "This Moring Ray," the short stories are excerpts modified from the writer's novels or manuscripts, whichconcern the fictional characters Nick and Ryz'n Sheeboom. For a change of pace, "This Morning, Ray" is a humorous, slightly autobiographical slice of life story.
